This beautiful natural Sapphire is a color shifting gemstone, where the rich blue color takes on hints of violet under incandescent lighting. We chose this stone for two primary reasons- it is totally natural and unheated, and the cushion cut is executed beautifully without any windowing or dark areas. We then set this Sapphire in a mounting that has nice Diamond detail work and a strong enough width to hold up to a the larger centerpiece, producing a more modern look. This ring was purchased as a right hand ring but would have been equally appropriate as a Sapphire engagement ring.
