Apatite is its own mineral family and it can occur in almost every color of the rainbow. Neon blues and greens (similar to the coveted Paraiba Tourmaline) have been mined in Madagascar since the 1990s; truly neon windex-blue examples are the most prized. The only catch is that these stones are soft and we have to be extremely careful when setting them.
