This Diamond is an Old European Cut, and was cut before 1930 when each gem was cut by hand, then set into one of our custom Platinum settings. Often times older Diamonds were cut deeply or poorly, simply to maximize weight, but this one was cut to perfection with a spread that makes it appear larger than it is! Additionally while this Diamond has a warm-white tone, the cut makes it appear whiter in person, proof that cut is king.
