This stunning Opal pendant is a great example of “upcycling” old jewelry to create a new piece. The client came to us with a pile of old and unworn jewelry, and was looking to use her resources to make an item she would enjoy more. She ultimately picked this Ethiopian opal and one of our pre-made pendant mountings, then used her own pear-shaped diamond from a prior piece as an accent. She was then able to use her scrap gold to pay for the project! Now she has a modern piece of jewelry which that can be worn with all colors and styles of clothing.
