Oval African Emerald & Diamond Bypass Ring

This fabulous ring features an oval Emerald with beautiful medium green color set into a classic gold bypass style ring. The Emerald is cut into an oval shape measuring 9mm long which appears larger on the hand than the weight would suggest. The gem is cut beautifully and holds an inner glow that does a great job of radiating the Emerald green color and hiding some of its jardin- the imperfections common to Emeralds. The yellow gold mounting features Diamond set shoulders that bypass the center stone on either side and increase the presence on the hand. This Emerald is of African origin and thus has some inclusions and a green hue that are distinct from Emeralds of other origins, and helps to make this ring a bargain! As mentioned earlier, this Emerald has some inclusions which are to be expected in an Emerald, and as such, it should be worn and cleaned with care.
