Peacock Colored Teal Tourmaline & Diamond Ring

This stunning ring is centered with an intense teal Tourmaline. Gems like this belong to the Indicolite family of Tourmaline, whose primary color is blue or teal, and which are now primarily mined in Africa. This particular peacock-hued gem was sourced from a collector who purchased the rough in Namibia in the 1990’s, then had the gem custom cut into this radiant shape. The ring mounting features a line of Diamonds flanking the center stone with white gold ridges for additional interest. The gold is then high polished on the high areas and matte finished on the low areas to add contrast. This would make a great right hand ring or teal engagement ring.
