Rare Art Nouveau Diamond Engagement Ring

This stunning Art Nouveau ring is one of the most beautiful antique Diamond rings in our case. The Art Nouveau, or Belle Epoque era, was a tiny period circa 1900 when artists and jewelers through off the cloak of traditionalism and embraced the wildness and artistry of the new century. These designs tend to feature organic designs, freeform shapes, and an attention to form that is unique to the era. This particular ring is European, made in rose gold with a platinum top. The lines of the ring have amazing movement and combine with the sparkling Diamonds to form a masterpiece on the hand. It is set with two rose cut Diamond accents and a central old European cut Diamond as the centerpiece. This 1/2ct Diamond is set askew, in a crown style head, and has amazing life to it- it is both VS and colorless. Originally designed as an engagement ring, this could easily be worn as a right hand ring, too.
