This pendant is set with one of the more unusual Tourmaline gems we have seen, which is saying something. We purchased this gem as a bicolor since the gem is primarily yellow but has a wisp of pink running through it. While the material has two colors, the yellow shade is dominant, and is the only color visible once set (you can see a hint of pink in the side view image, that’s about it). But what the pink does do is it prevents the color from being too dark, making this yellow a true canary shade, one of the rarest colors in natural Tourmaline. To pay homage to the rarity of this gem, we chose to mount it in one of our custom swirl designs, which uses an oval halo of Diamonds in white gold with swirling arms that hold the gem and draw the eye inward. The Tourmaline is set in yellow gold prongs for richness. This is a great pendant, perfect to add sunshine to your life and your wardrobe.
