This fantastic rose gold pendant & earring set features a citrusy lemon-lime gemstone as the focal point: natural Chrysoberyl. Is that a Citrine? Yellow Sapphire? Nope! These gems have more brilliance than almost any other yellow gemstone we carry- but natural Chrysoberyls are uniquely their own gem species. The Chrysoberyl family is more known for its famous Cat’s Eye and Alexandrite cousins, but the gem itself occurs in a wide range of colors and always with great luster and beauty. This particular suite of gems is faceted into unusual hexagonal shapes with a bright slightly greenish yellow hue, more reminiscent of a lemon Quartz or natural Yellow Diamond than any other gemstone we carry. The rose gold settings add a richness to this suite that is quite beautiful and contrasts nicely against the yellow hue.
