We love to reuse old jewelry to make new creations and the above pendant is a great example. The client owned a ring that was very sentimental, but she never wore it, and didn’t want to melt it down. Rene had the idea to use the ring shank as a circular frame for a pendant, preserving the original design of the sentimental piece. All the client had to do next was pick out a gem to set in it- and she chose this stunning Ethiopian Opal.
