This cushion cut Rhodolite (the purplish-red Garnet variety) was mined in the Umba River Valley of Tanzania. This deposit is quickly becoming famous because the gems are a medium purple base color with pink and red secondary tones. To highlight this rare color we set the Rhodolite in a neutral white gold then accented the ring with touches of rose gold. The wide band sits nice and low on the finger so that the bling can be enjoyed on a daily basis.
