This one-of-a-kind sapphire is a slightly blueish green color, on the green side of teal, and is a totally natural gem from newer deposits in Madagascar. The color is caused by alternating microscopic bands of blue and yellow in the Sapphire that blend to create the green color. This phenomenon also makes these green Sapphires particularly lively and attractive. The client who fell in love with this sapphire already owned the high-quality mounting, so all we did was modify it to hold the sapphire and it was ready to go on her hand!
