Many couples start with a solitaire diamond engagement ring that can be worn on its own, then enclose it with a guard or wrap to add some flair at a later date. This concept was reversed for this ring, since the client wanted to be able to dress-down and wear only the diamond anniversary band. Thus we designed a mounting where the larger center stone on the engagement ring can be removed and the band can be worn on its own. The two tone gold and diagonal diamonds add modern flair to this wedding set.
