Untreated Color Change Sapphire Engagement Ring

This ring is set with one of the finest natural Sapphires in our collection. The Sapphire, weighing just over 1ct, is a coveted round shape with excellent cutting- it’s not too dark whatsoever. This gem was mined near Ratnapura, Sri Lanka and is totally natural and untreated, placing it into the top 1% of all Sapphires. To cap it all off, the gem exhibits the coveted blue-violet color change, where the Sapphire is a bright cobalt blue under outdoor or LED light, and a royal purple under candle or incandescent (difficult to capture the beauty in a photo). We set this gem in a custom made ring mount with double claw prongs, with a Diamond accented split shank that draws the eye in toward the center stone. While the Sapphire has an oversized presence, this one sits low and is protected for the everyday life of an engagement ring. Perfection in Sapphire ring form!
