Victorian Old Mine Cut Diamond Belcher Ring 18k

Hailing from across the Atlantic, this fantastic antique Diamond ring is complete with hallmarks for London, England circa 1890. The low profile gold mounting is similar to a “belcher setting” in that the prongs rise up from the shank, but this one has added finesse from the sculpted design and openwork. The ring is set with a wonderfully sparkly old mine cut cushion Diamond which glistens in the light- great chunky cut-by-hand look. The ring is elegant on the hand while also practical in a low-profile, solidly built way. While not a huge diamond or ring, this one has a solid presence on the hand and has wonderful sparkle in low light. Currently size 8 but sizable to any size.
