Victorian Rose Gold Locket, Reversible Pendant

Few late Victorian lockets come finer or more wearable than this rose gold beauty, crafted in England circa 1895. The 9ct rose gold frame is beautifully made, interspersed with yellow gold flowers, each set with a seed pearl. The bail sits atop the pendant, and unscrews to allow the frame to pop open. Once inside, the owner can place photographs or locks of hair under both sides- since it’s reversible! This elegant modern photo of Queen Alexandra, King Edward’s wife, was a fitting placeholder until the next owner can stash their preferred sentimental snapshot in place.
