Few designs are as iconic as the carved floral rings of the 1960s and 1970s- I think most of us can remember a family member wearing a similar ring. While the general carved rose ring concept is much-loved, not all of these rings were created equally. This particular ring was hand-made as a one-off design (not one of the mass produced ones) and is set with stunning Diamonds- it is a fine example. The center stone is a transitional cut, or modern European cut, which shows that this is an original mid-century piece. Wearing this ring is a treat, since the gold carving features hidden details in every nook and cranny. We have touched up the black antiquing to restore the carved ring to its original glory, too. The result is a fabulous carved rose ring, ready for the next lucky finger.
