Product Description
This Diamond ring hails from the glamourous 1950s, where sleek designs reigned supreme. The overall shape of the ring is in the shape of an eye with the center Diamond serving and the pupil. Rings in this shape are sometimes known as princess rings or boat rings; but whichever way you describe them they are beautiful! They were designed to give the wearer a bit more coverage on the finger such that they could be worn as a standalone ring (no need for a second wedding band). In this case, a 1ct Diamond is set in the center with a single round Diamond on either side. This Diamond trio is flanked by two channel-set rows of baguette Diamonds. The tapered baguettes draw the attention of the viewer inward toward the center Diamonds. The end effect is one large mass of sparkle! We love that this ring is vintage, but in almost new condition, with a low-profile setting that makes it comfortable and practical for everyday wear.
Details: vintage 14k white gold ring set with 1.10ct round natural Diamond (VS1 clarity, M color, faint yellow hue) and .30ctw Diamond accents; c.1950s.
