Vintage Gold Gents Ring with Large Natural Ruby

This elegant Ruby gents ring hails from the mid-century era when a classy right-hand ring was a status symbol among successful gentleman. The ring is crafted in solid 10k yellow gold (chosen for durability, not price) and set with three gems: a natural Ruby & Diamonds. The round Ruby measures over 8mm across and is conservatively estimated to weigh 2.50ctw. Rubies are colored by the element chromium, which also acts as a growth inhibitor, so natural Rubies rarely exceed 2cts in size. This is a fine quality Ruby with only light silkiness- it sparkles and glows red like an ember- and represents amazing value. The ring measures just over 11mm wide which is creates a substantial look on the hand. We think this would make an ideal Ruby wedding band for him; but it could easily be worn by anyone on any hand.
