Yellow Gold Aquamarine Pendant & Earring Set

This estate Aquamarine suite is a bit unusual – and we know someone will love it. The piece was made in the latter half of the 20th century when yellow gold was the metal of choice, even with Aquamarines (as compared to now, when most Aquamarine is set in white metal). It has a warming effect, helping bring out the subtle green tones in the otherwise sky-blue gemstones. In this set, the pendant Aquamarine is set in a semi-bezel so that it is smooth and comfortable to wear; the earrings are prong-set studs. In both cases, small Diamonds add sparkle and accentuate the baby blue gems. A great deal – perfect for the March babies out there!
